Every record on the Merit Ledger represents a U.S. supplement manufacturer (FDA-registered facility) cross-referenced against four authoritative sources: FDA establishment registration, NSF facility registration (where applicable), USP Verified Mark, and NPA cGMP certification. cGMP audit details surface the date, the Amazon-approved TIC provider, and the audit expiration window. Brand relationships are aggregated — a count, never a name — to protect contractually confidential brand–CMO arrangements.
Verification cadence: each record is re-checked on a quarterly rolling window (or sooner when a TIC audit lapses, an FDA 483 lands, or a brand-edge change is reported). The Merit-verified timestamp on every card is the canonical “last reviewed” date.
Brand–manufacturer relationships are aggregated and never identified by name without written consent.
